Saltillo, Coahuila.- El director General de DIF Coahuila, Roberto Cárdenas Zavala, informó que este jueves partió un camión cargado con 3.5 toneladas de víveres y artículos de limpieza rumbo a Chilpancingo, Guerrero, en donde será recibido por personal del DIF de esa entidad para distribuirlo entre las personas afectadas por el huracán «Otis».
Cárdenas Zavala resaltó que esto se logró gracias a la solidaridad de las familias saltillenses que acudieron a entregar sus donativos al Centro de Acopio instalado en el DIF Coahuila.
«A nombre del gobernador Miguel Ángel Riquelme Solís y de nuestra presidenta honoraria, Marcela Gorgón Carrillo, agradecemos a las familias que se solidarizaron con esta causa. Su ayuda llegará durante las primeras horas de este viernes a Guerrero y será destinada a nuestras hermanas y hermanos afectados por el huracán», señaló.
Cárdenas Zavala resaltó que a esta causa se sumaron también instituciones como la Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila, que hizo llegar al DIF estatal un importante donativo.
El funcionario detalló que los artículos que llegarán a Guerrero están conformados por: Agua embotellada, alimentos no perecederos, jabón, shampoo, papel higiénico, toallas sanitarias, pañales para bebé y adultos, así como jabón en polvo, cloro, pinol, jabón en polvo, escobas y trapeadores.
